Flint is one of our more junior bases. If you can get it as a new hire great, if not it will take up to 6 months. The way our bidding works is after bid award, there is usually a 4-6 month wait until actual change of base.

If you live there (God help you), FNT, from all indications, isn't that bad for a person willing to live there and deal with the non-stop issues with the station. No one likes to show up and work on the ground crew, etc...summers in FL also cause the same, so your mileage may vary. If the airport could keep ground crew properly staffed (not the airport's fault) then things might actually start to click. The flights are always full-ish...not a bad place to be junior.

I got an email inviting me to do the video interview the same day I submitted my application. I would say that it is not normal to go a month without hearing anything.
