umm... why sell shares now before the dividend? Is there something looming?
It's not uncommon for share prices to rise as they get closer to the ex-dividend date as more people buy in to get in on the dividend thereby raising the price of the stock. After the ex-dividend date, the stock will probably drop a little.

I think we’re all agreed. Unimpressed. If he works without a contract, which is not the case, then he damn well better not expect us to work without one.

Any former USA 3000 or North American peeps out there know of this Steve Harfst fellow? If not, do you know anyone that did work over there that might be able to shed some light on this guy?

Talked to buddy who used to work at USA3000 when he was there. Says he was basically brought in to shut the place down. I hear the same is true for North American. While I don't think he is coming here to shut the company down, I'll bet he was hired in part to shut the PILOTS down. Time to give him the warm welcome of an almost unanimous vote to walk out.

Why would you 'bring in' somebody to shut the place down? Don't airlines fail on their own and you just read about it the next day in USA Today? The board of directors voted this guy in & Allegiant makes bank.

The operation could use a good dose of accountability vs. finger pointing. A strong military background, such as the new COO's, could be just what we need.

Just thinking out loud - I have no idea.

I thought that too until I remembered that this upper management team has a great track record of destroying any good intentions from a new member. I had high hopes for GB and MG too, but at the end of the day, they're all employees of the 24 year old accountants who are really in charge.

Heard that is the very reason we need this new COO. The last one got fed up trying to justify any expense that didn't go directly to shareholders.

Until the top of the pyramid that creates and supports that view is removed don't expect any change to be allowed from anyone else in the company.

Can he be kicked to the curb? Since he is the chairman and majority stock holder as far as individual investors, how would/could that happen.
