I can't stop laughing. If the BCP is going to accidentally hit 'Reply All' and insult the professionalism of the entire pilot group, he could have at LEAST proofread his email. Hard to take someone seriously when they can't even use 2nd grade-level spelling and grammar.

Engine failures, masks dropping on an ETOPS flight, and a low level manager strokes his own ego over ties-and still screws it up. Glad to see that management has our backs. It's no wonder that none of the pilots at this company have an ounce of respect for the management.

Our flight ops dept sent out a nice memo saying we can wear flag/patriotic ties this week to show out patriotism.
Then the guy who is the newly created position of Assistant Chief Pilot in BLI showed his huge ego when he sent an email back to flight ops management that suggested using the wording "tasteful tie" because "you just never know what they will wear". It was meant for management eyes only but he accidentally replied to all the pilots in the company.
He is a fairly junior captain and a new check airman but obviously thinks we are like children and need help determining what kind of tie we should wear.
Insulting.

Also, proper English rules would prevent anyone from capitalizing a word – referring to the word ‘LEAST’ you used - in a particular sentence.
Aviation itself is the biggest culprit when it comes to incorrect use of English language. How many times have you heard pilots starting a sentence on the radio with ‘…and Center United XYZZ level at 340’ (This is just one example)?
How many times have you corrected (and lambasted) those pilots for using low level of English grammar?
On a lighter note, this is an Informal Internet forum where the use of such language and words is acceptable. So, let off some steam and have a cold glass of beer.
You also seem like a person – more like a 12-year old, who must have the last word. I will give you that in advance. You win!
