Allegiant Air flight delayed several hours from PBI

Passenger says plane had no air conditioning

The comments are even more forthcoming.

I heard this flight give the in-range call last night; said the APU was deferred and pax were hot. The voice on the radio sounded exasperated! Guess the sit in PBI and the short hop to SFB never quite got the cabin cooled-down. To make matters worse, SFB made them wait another 15 min on the ground to park; props to the 80 crew that landed before them refusing to park until PBI got parked. I can't imagine the pax disbelief when they got cx'd part-way into their trip...what a mess that must have been at midnight last night!!

Allegiant made the CBS nightly news tonight in a segment about possible safety issues with the airline. Nice job boys.

I do, but I don't pay that much attention to the west coast stuff.

Allegiant Air cancels additional flights at St. Pete-Clearwater International | Tampa Bay Times

The Las Vegas-headquartered airline has now canceled about 14 flights arriving or departing at the airport since the emergency landing of one of its aircraft on June 17 due to a pressurization problem. That was the second Allegiant emergency landing at the airport this month.

One cancellation, Flight 893, pushed away from a St. Pete-Clearwater gate Friday at 8:17 p.m. but was forced to return before takeoff due to a "maintenance" issue that the airline refused to detail.
Billings flyers stranded in Vegas after Allegiant flight cancele - KTVQ.com | Q2 | Continuous News Coverage | Billings, MT

An Allegiant flight scheduled to leave Las Vegas Monday to return to Billings was canceled, leaving 136 passengers stranded

The flight scheduled to depart from Billings to Las Vegas Monday was also canceled for 106 passengers.

Wheeler said those flights will be refunded.

Wheeler said the flights were canceled because of a mechanical problem that made it unsafe to fly.
“Airline pilots are calling on the board to put an end to the company's nickel and dime approach to managing its operation,” the letter reads.

The union cited 38 instances of “mechanical issues, including failing engines, pressurization problems, smoke in the cockpit, inoperable radar systems and failing windshield anti-ice devices,” between January and March 2015 as reasons for concern among pilots.

Wheeler said the flight cancellation is not due to a pilots strike and that the concerns addressed in the letter are nothing more than a tactic for wage negotiations.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Whattup fellow G4 pilots. Long time lurker first time poster. Been here up-teenth years now. That's years in the plural. Won't say how many, cause you know; we got too many G4 management scumbags in the mix, that would love to make me, for the truth I speak.

Just wanted give a warning to our eager beavers out there. Our training really does suck a$$. Feeling lucky? We've had more than a few new-hire FOs wash out. Hello PRIA, put that one your resume. Go for it cowboy.

Ohh and thanks to our worthless lying sack-o-crap DO, former NWA, and fellow delta dorks, it seems G4r's need not apply. So, if you were thinking; well its good enough to get me some big time, to my fav legacy. Forget about it. Cross the big boy off your list.

We've had G4r's represent at ALK, SWA, UA. But no DAL last three years that I can recall. Hmm. Coincides with the dark times these union/pilot hating dirt bags have brought upon us.

Enjoy..
