Do yourself a favor and read this forum in its entirety. There are a ton of people with descent seniority leaving to other airlines because the working conditions have gotten so bad. Do yourself a favor and just wait for a legacy to call unless you like dealing with engine failures, air returns, mx delays, singular days off, a horrible training environment, hostile management, extremely low pay, passenger evacuations, base chief pilots who send out mass emails that insult the entire pilot group....etc.

Heard yesterday that a guy that will have 10 years in a month or two, was/is a check airman, a ground instructor, and basically the guy that kept the MD80 program from falling apart for years has pulled chocks.

Allegiant suddenly cancels 6 Thursday flights
Allegiant Airlines has suddenly canceled six flights Thursday at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport.
In a statement, Allegiant said it's because of "operational needs throughout our system." We followed up and asked the airline exactly what that means.
They replied that, essentially, they don't have enough planes in service to handle all 283 of their flights across the continent on Thursday.
"Allegiant is currently operating in our peak travel season, flying a very heavy schedule of flights each day. In addition to this high demand, we have a had a number of unforeseen and unusual events that have taken aircraft out of service," the airline's media relations team emailed us.
