If your an F16 pilot, surely you have some friends that can plug you into just about any other carrier (pretty much everyone at the moment) that is hiring.

Volunteering for ALG punishment not only helps their mgmt abuse current employees, but also gives them the sense that no matter what kind of abuse they dish out, F16 pilots will still come running looking for that airbus job.

Hopefully with a little pressure, ALG and Spirit pilots will be able to achieve a contract and working conditions that enable them to have a decent career with reasonable working conditions, but that is not helped by the endless parade of swinging ^#*%'s ( and girls) that come knocking on their door.

New hires are getting Airbus FL and IWA. If it's the 757 it's HNL, If it's the MD 80 it's the variable base.
Good luck! I was a commuting regional guy and now I am home every night and my family loves it.

Don’t get fooled by the home every night crowd. Many pilots have been tdy’d endlessly. Tdy here is a nightmare. Being junior in florida is horrible. Crew services treats the state as if its one city. It is very doubtful you will be home every night.

While you may very well do fine in new hire training, you will be surprised at how disorganized it is. Our training department was actually shut down by the FAA for a while, because it’s so screwed up. Like everything else around here, it’s on the cheap. Profits for today, the he!! with tomorrow. You will be embarrassed to walk past your passengers when you come to work.

Our new coo is a piece of work. A lying, pilot hating sack of crap like the rest of our management. A tip; how can you tell when a g4 management person is lying to you? Their lips will be moving.

Good luck w/decision & phone interview. Living in FL is a big plus as Allegiant is growing the flying out of that state & you shouldn't have to wait long if at all to get a FL base (Treated by the co as the Florida Base for jr. pilots).

If you can self study & have solid flying skills you can get through NH Training - it is improving as of my last recurrent. They have some good instructors that do care. (Fire away! But, I did see, first hand, a BIG improvement).

AB over MD80. The summers in the 80 are challenging.

Do you know what aircraft you are getting assigned before you show up?

Could someone post a breakdown of which aircraft in which bases? I know it was posted a while ago but not sure if they changed.

Enjoy the crew services, Florida shuffle. Drive to SFB, drive to PGD, drive back FLL..Drive to PIE, back to FLL…Not home every night.

For now. G4 has an amazing ability to drive away the talent. Business plan you see.
