Would you be able to clarify how this is done? Does he company pay for the car, tolls, gas up front? Is it part of your duty day? Are you given a hotel in PGD? How often does this happen? I've seen it discussed/complained about before on threads but am curious about he logistics. Thank you...

If you drive to another base and then fly, it is considered duty but only because 117 says it is. Driving back is not duty unless you were going to fly another leg. You're on your own.
Hotel? Hahaha...good luck! Unless you are at the end of legal duty day when you arrive back in the base you drove to, you aren't getting a hotel in most cases. It happens all the time. West coast reserves cover all bases out west, East coast reserves cover all bases out East theoretically. Sometimes you will even cover the other coast.
This is just one small part of the problem at AAY. Of course, the pilots there are "just complaining". It's funny to see that the people who were gung ho about getting hired just a few months ago are already on here making tongue in cheek complaints. That should tell you a lot!

On another note, you may see even angrier Allegiant pilots on this board tomorrow if the financial results have us taking a 7% pay cut for the next 6 months. Stay tuned....

Don't bother with our stock. It's movement is mainly based on manipulation from the largest shareholders constantly buying and selling. Hitting a high of $120 today, the price seems to defy the principles of economics. Yeah, we make money, but not THAT much. That being said, if you're going to short, do it tomorrow (4/23) as the price tends to dip right after the earnings call. If I'm wrong, remember what you paid for the advice.

Do a search of all the g4 threads for the last couple of years. These questions have been coming up more, due to the recent hiring. The list of disrespect is long for those that have been here a few years.
You will be walking a picket line if you come here. Strike votes are burning a hole in most pockets. That’s the most salient point you should know.
