If my best case is Airbus and they ask you in the interview what happens when you get the MD, I figure the answer is i'll fly whatever you want. However really if someone gets the MD and lives in Florida, what is the best base to get with the MD? PIE? PGD looks to be only an airbus base but i see MD's flying out on flightaware constantly.

MD are is SFB and PIE current plan has only SFB and LAS with MD by end of 2017.

The MD's do a lot of recovery flights for the AB so they are doing some of those flights for either a broken AB or lack of Crews to cover AB flights.

Flightaware constantly shows A320's as being MD 80's.

this is very true lol.

Thanks for the responses. PIE is about a 2 hour drive and SFB is longer. Would you all get a room there before or drive up each day? that seems like a pretty long day driving 4 hours and flying/duty = x amount

This airline is not for commuters. If you live in base though, your happiness scale will probably be pretty high.

No more Vegas trips for us East Coast peeps.
Unless of course, we're in trouble.

It's an MD80 FMS module. It's not hard. If you miss some in the practice section you just correct to 100%.
