ON THE DAYS I ACTUALLY WORK: doze until 9am, eat breakfast with the family, hit the gym (or go fishing, or the beach, or NFL Sunday), eat lunch with the family… 2 pm: 10 min drive to the airport, 1 landing in the logbook, home by 8-9 pm, crack a beer, eat dinner with the family, watch news, then I sleep next to my wife .

Wait, it gets better! I make $96/hr.

Waaaait, it gets even better! I’ve been here for 1.5 years with 200+ FO’s behind me... and some of the best dudes I've flown with.

Don’t forget, this place has been a “real” airline for only 16 years… Yes, there are some growing pains… exactly what you’d expect from a growing company in its teenage years with it's FIRST pilot CBA. However, if it’s this great after 16 years, I can’t wait to see what the next 16 years will hold. Any move I make will be a decrease in QOL!

Now your turn, A** Hat!
I second the above! Been in this game (I.E. 121) since pre-911 and this is the Best Gig I've ever had, and hopefully my last stop. I'm not updating my Legacy applications anymore I'm an 80 driver, been here less that a year, 100+ in the rear view mirror already and my neighbors think I'm unemployeed as well. I usually get 14-16 days off if anyone is interested. I've flown with ALOT of crews in my tenure, and G4 has some really awesome people here..

Yeah? What's 2nd or 3rd year at Mesa? Mesa: $23/hr 1st year. $29/hr 2nd year. Allegiant: $53/hr 1st year. $96/hr 2nd year.

YOU could do better. But can't, or for some stupid reason won't.

Keep in mind upgrade is about 2 years right now here. So yeah looking at 3rd year at Mesa as a Captain (if you can?) $65/hr. Allegiant: $166/hr. But hey! Look at the bright side. When you've been at Mesa 20 years you can top out at $104/hr! Whereas at Allegiant our 4th year FO's make more.... and our captains are topping out at $232/hr.

Yeah. We could do better. But our most junior guys are doing better than your most senior, so why not just stop trolling us, it just makes you look (pathetically) bad?

For someone living in ATL which base would be considered the best for a commuter?

Well, we don't fly to Atlanta, so you'd be looking at off-airline commuting, so I'd look at all of our bases and check out the most flights to and from them (or near them such as SFB or IWA) from Delta, I guess.

Thanks Luv… I pretty sure…

And before my words provoke discord, let me make it clear… In no way am I bashing commuters, overnighters… or Applebee’s. I’ve done all three… much respect to my brothers and sisters. I’m not trying to swing my wee wee around and compare other excellent airlines to mine.

My words were for Mr. Mesa

To be fair, I do not represent the Mesa pilot group

Don't worry...we know that! Most are far more respectable than you, sir.
