I have to disagree. It was absolutely the intent of 117 for you to be able to fly one extension in a series of days in which you have not had a 30 hr rest period. How quickly we have all forgotten the six 16 hour days legal to start legal to finish that we were on the hook for before 117. Pt 117 is better than what we had but if you think it was written for our benefit and not the benefit of the operation, you're sadly mistaken.

man, I had an awesome deal booked for my dad to Florida. But then I saw it was on Allegiant. Thanks but no thanks. Even your airbuses appear to be fodder for aircraft emergencies. Keyword that comes to mind when I see your planes is... retreat.

You only get 1 extension in 168 hours though, I'd prefer to save my extension for my own personal needs like if I have somewhere to be the next day. Extensions are at the sole discretion of the crew member, PERIOD. You're welcome for the clarification Mr. Gust. Maybe Mesa will take you back when we rid ourselves of the risk you pose to us pilots.

I wonder if it was the same tail that popped a motor on a go around at IWA. Stuff happens, it just seems to happen a lot more at G4. Even the union and pilots agreed, until a contract was in place. Read back here and look at the comments. It's almost comical. Guys would come on here asking interview advice and they got "I hope your single engine skills are good" from many now defending the company. Or, "stay at your region, it's better there." Guess it's obvious what price a pilot at G4s integrity is.

You are very wrong. I gave Allegiant a fair shake. Tried to point out areas of the contract that are behind LCC standard to those that didn't even read it and voted with my feet when the contract was signed. I was willing to go to battle with everyone that said we "should burn the place down." Staying and voting in a measly few dollars while the company does nothing about maintenance and reliability and now saying how great it is, that isn't cowardly, it's just plain lying.
