That's not just Comair folks though. I think if you took a training snapshot of anyone who spends a prolonged time in one airplane, the transition to another is difficult. When you take someone with 10 years of automation and put them into an MD-80 for example, they will have a steep learning curve. Just the scan alone will take a while to come back.

We see the same thing happening with some of the senior 80 guys here going to the Airbus.

Not a pilot skill problem IMO.

What are the odds of getting CVG out of training? Otherwise, how long is it taking people to get a CVG transfer?

Thanks in advance.

Most junior CVG FO is a 9/16 hire. Probably will not get it out of training but perhaps in a few vacancy awards...

Yeah, the Comair folks are "just a little bit" disgruntled and set in their ways. If it weren't for them and the former Expressjet pilots, the Facebook gripe page would be dead. It's funny how some airline's alumni are happy to be here, and some are never happy.

Junior new hire bases that are continuously assigned out of training are LAX, OAK, FLL, and PGD for the Bus, SFB and LAS for the 80. You are assigned aircraft, but if both are offered, you bid using lowest SS# as most senior in class. CVG is one of those bases like BLI where once people get it, they don't leave. So it's rare to see it on a vacancy.

"A mix of 737 and E175 aircraft" lol. So in other words SkyWest. Boys, if we hang onto nothing else, it better be scope.

On a side note, Maury should buy the fuel provider there.

Just a heads up to all:

Pilot meet and greets (free):

Wends June 14 MSP (North Woods Room) 9am - 3pm

Friday June 16 CVG (Gate A10) 9am - 3pm

Career Fair:
OBAP Aug 9th - 11th

Anyone else find it odd they're doing meet and greets with a seemingly large number of apps on file? Well, good for the guys interested!

questions/comments...
