Is it strange for someone to feel that they've improved their skill set over time? At 12k hours I feel much more comfortable with the job than I ever have, with loads extra capacity for fine tuning the customer service aspect amongst other things. I'll have to reevaluate after your comment.

That said, those Comair guys are the gift that keeps on giving. Just like HSV-1.

No crazy skeletons or obvious reject criteria.

Don't know......

Casual observation with zero say in the matter as I don't fly for Allegiant. What sticks out from your flight history (not necessarily in your favor) is the vast disparity between your total time and PIC. Not saying it's right or wrong but it definitely is the first thing that I noticed that might not pass whatever algorithms the Airlines have set forward to receive an interview or CJO. From the HR perspective, It kind of begs the question, why?

All HR would have to do is look at my employment history.
Believe it or not, not everyone upgrades at year three at a regional.
Not trying to sound like an a$$ at all, but upgrade was 10-12 years at Eagle, same or longer at Horizon, eight years at ExpressJet, six to seven at Air Wis....

Did you get the video interview? If not, just reapply. Lots of stories of the computer kicking people out for no apparent reason, then them getting an interview invite the next week.

Thanks. I didn't get anything. I figured they didn't like my address since it wasn't in FL or LAS. Ha.

That's kind of my point. Maybe it's because you jumped around to a lot of employers and whatever computer program they have that doles out interviews deem you as a flight risk or "not fit" to be a PIC. Computer logic, not real logic. I'm not trying to be an a$$ either. I'm just trying to offer another perspective as an indifferent bystander. Good luck with your endeavors

The last few weekly chief pilot hotline updates have discussed recent pilot hiring and who they are hiring. Here is a breakdown from this weeks recording.

203 applications received over the last recruiting period (I don't know what a recruiting period is defined as)

43 of those selected for a video -or- phone interview
22 of those selected for an interview invite to Las Vegas
18 of those were extended offers for current or future classes

It seems that just under 10% of the applications received in the last recruiting period made it to job offer.

The May class was as follows-
35 avg age
4350 avg hours
all prior 121 experience

A previous hotline message also said the May class was of 8. Looks like 2 no shows.
