I believe it is just one airplane. It is currently an MD80, but will be changing to airbus this year. Need to get on the airbus. Someone else can maybe chime in on how senior.

If you are living with your family in Atlanta and working for Delta, I wouldnt bother. If I were living with my family in Atlanta and working for a regional or corporate, I'd apply to allegiant and tell my family we're moving. Allegiant isn't perfect, no airline is perfect, but the opportunity here for both professional income and the home life is very hard to beat if not currently at the major cargo or airlines.
After several years here, it still amazes me what being home every night means to my family....more so than the city we live in. I know it may sound cheesy, but realistically being able to attend ball games or social event reliability is worth more to me than a uniform color...especially since we make decent money now..not amazing but no bad either.

I had put my Allegiant app in a while back and JUST got the e-mails about interviewing. However, with the move to Atlanta, I think it's probably not worth it. Right? Wrong?
Thanks for all the input.

Same here. The unhappiest people I fly with usually have one thing in common: they sacrificed QOL, the greatest thing about this place, to gain something else… like earliest possible upgrade, upgrading to a more Jr base, or living out of base when Jr.

I guess to each their own, only they know what is right for them.

Upgrades are difficult to predict because we're so small. If just 5 people in one class want the same base, it could effect those times let alone 20 in the classes ahead of you.

Looking for a suggestion here. I'm currently in upgrade training at a regional. I love the idea of day trips. If I have a successful interview at Allegiant, I would move to whatever base I'm awarded until I ultimately end up in PIE. Day trips is huge to me. Many people are telling me to stay at Brand X for PIC time. I've already done the video interview with Allegiant. Worst case scenario is I'm offered a job and have to choose between that and PIC. Moving to Allegiant scares me 1) idk how long upgrade time is and 2) stability for 25+ years. I don't see this as a time in the industry where an airline will go away, but, for example, if Allegiant's day trip structure went away, growth stopped, or a base closed after I bought a house, I'll be kicking myself for leaving PIC time. Advice much appreciated ladies and gentlemen.

Yeah, I'm in the middle of moving to Atlanta, actually. We really like the area we picked out. No job at Delta, though (yet?). Probably going to be regional for a little while.

I absolutely love it here but I live in base. The only way it could work for you is if you bid and are awarded VBD. But your QOL won't be great if you have a family. Do yourself a favor and hold off.

A new type on your certificate is important too. PIC isn't everything. Just saying.
