Summer of '15: "we break down a lot because summer is really hot and our pilots are using manipulative negotiation tactics. We are a safe airline. There's nothing to see here."
Christmas of '15: "we just have a really busy schedule. These emergencies are all normal. We are a safe airline. There's nothing to see here."
FAA audit results: "see, we told you there was nothing to see here. We are a safe airline. There's nothing to see here."
Unredacted FAA internal memo leak: "ooops- well, ahem, it's all THEIR fault. We promise to never do it again. We are a safe airline. There's nothing to see here."
Summer of '17: "it's just a really busy time for us. We sincerely apologize. Here's your money back. We are a safe airline. There's nothing to see here."
Fresno Bee story: "we just really wanna be better at this maintenance thing- but we're a safe airline. Aw, cripes, United's beating people up! What do you want from us?!"
Hats off to you, G4 brothers and sisters. You're the best aviators in the business and better than anyone at keeping the pax safe.

1. The media loves raw meat, and airline bashing is en mode fight now. Unfortunately Allegiant dishes it up daily.
2. We heard LAS was going all Bus sooner LAST year after (get this) Vegas got hot! Who'd have thunk??? But the bottom line is that the 80s are like a paid off beater car. So Allegiant is going to continue to make excuses (and money) off them as long as they can. at least they threw in the towel and TDY'd the Bus to LAS for the rest of this summer to do rescue flights. Mesa was getting clobbered covering two bases.

I am on your side..I hope that everything goes your way going forward and from what I've been told, you were wronged in a big way.
But, I have to ask; has your litigation concluded? Because having a lot of experience with legal issues and courtrooms, I cringe a little every time I see you post.
I am certain that your attorney would be livid if he were to read some of what you've posted or even that you are posting. Even the most innocuous comment or statement can be twisted or taken out of context and presented in a manner that could scuttle your case while, at the same time, serving absolutely no positive end. Even the post above could be construed a having a passive-aggressive tone written by an angry person who wants to damage G4, not the reasonable, careful, experienced professional that your legal team needs to present to those who will decide your fate.
Rule number one of ongoing litigation is that you are not to talk about it. Rule number two says "see rule number one." This extends to all forms of communication...especially a public internet form on which you've willingly acknowledged your identity.
I say this only in the hopes that you have a successful outcome. If your matter is over, I hadn't heard and I apologize. If it has not, please, take my advice and stop posting until it is. I'd even recommend doing whatever you can to remove your previous posts until either the money hits your account (which, again, is the outcome for which I'm hoping) or you've exhausted your final appeal.
Best of luck to you.

Transitioning Vegas to the bus asap makes sense because the alternative is buying more ground air conditioners, and if you can avoid that expense by running the APU on the airbus you might as well. I'd still expect some MD80's to be in Vegas for a long time and used for rescue and high demand days.

I hear this every now and again. On the surface it sounds good. But to keep a few planes with all the accompanying parts, maintenance, training required (pilots and mechanics) keep up with manuals etc just for rescues and for spares doesn't make sense. Or, it doesn't make sense to me. I'm sure the finance guys have run the numbers.
