If you want a trip, you're generally going to get it, especially if you're looking to fly a longer (3-4 day) trip. Make up of out base must be called after make up in base and prior to using reserves.

This is for long call only. Short call pilots are released six hours after their RAP begins if not called.

...And depending on the coverage AND scheduler you can call and get realesed early. I’ve gotten as lucky as 2 hrs into my RAP (short call) on my last day when I had something I needed to do.

But don’t expect that to happen in the summer.

I used to get that all the time at airways. No clue about AA.

I normally have no issue being released early on my last day. I usually get the 10am RAP and am released around noon. I was released 30 minutes into my 9am rap on the 4th of July. It never hurts to ask.

Pays around 80-83 hours per month at $88/hour plus per diem while you're in training. Clock stops on days off. Also they pay for single occupancy hotel.
