Republic Airline Unilateral JS Action

So let me ask you, how is that fair to the AAG pilots who treat all the non owned carriers the same, yet you’re saying DL/UA give contract vendors priority over other offline.
So, according to you, AA/AE can cancel a flight, or delay it waiting for a reserve, because DL/UA gave RAH JS priority over offline AAG guys....
that doesn’t sound like a fair reciprocal agreement between AA/DL/UA at all. I’m sure their collective 45,000 plus pilots will be just thrilled about this.

What you fail to grasp is that the DL and UA pilots enjoy priority in our JS over OAL. The same priority you used to enjoy and are now upset about losing. You want to keep your priority over OAL on YX but tell us we don't deserve the same

No, you don't understand the point I'm trying to make.
The fact that pilots didn't know about this shows that your communication wasn't reaching enough people.
Before doing something like this, I would have assumed your union would ensure every single pilot at AA and WOs knows about this discrepancy. It's pretty obvious that's not the case.
Now this comes as a surprise to them, and that can backfire.

This is a simple math problem. Let's assume for the sake of assumption Republic's flying is split 33% for each codeshare partner (it's not, our AA flying is a plurality).
This is a simple probability question, truly. You don't need a degree in math (or even a degree at all, something AAG is undoubtedly getting used to!) to figure this out.
There are two pilots.
Pilot #1 has a 1:3 chance of going to work to support AA flying. The AAG captain whose jumpseat he's trying to ride doesn't know which. Let's just ignore the idea that even if Pilot #1 isn't operating an AA-marketed flight, that means 1 fewer reserve that could support AA flying if Pilot #1 doesn't get to work.
Pilot #2 has no chance of going to work to support AA flying. Zero. He works for a competitor.
Which pilot, on a statistical level, provides the greatest benefit to AA? Pilot 1 or Pilot 2?
I suggested this eons ago, and if this would appease you, then fine. Give all of our codeshare partner pilots (AAG, DL, 9E, and UA) priority over OAL pilots on YX-operated flight on behalf of another partner. That is, AAG pilots would go ahead of OAL pilots on a United YX flight, but below YX pilots and UA pilots.
There. Problem solved.

What is this, 20 questions spin the bottle games all of a sudden on page 40? lol Okay, if so then let me ask you this,. How often does an AA/WO pilot contribute to UA or DL's bottom line? About as often as a Spirit pilot? Now what about a Republic or any other AAG pilot?
