I have spent a few months now in the old country while on VSTLOA and can tell you that the measures against Corona have been enforced very strictly. To my surprise there has been almost no objection / rejection from the broad population. I believe the problem is political and cultural. I'd like to know what the numbers of anti-maskers were back in 1918/19....

In 1918/19 anti-maskers were arrested. Also, the masks didn’t work

lol!! thats a good one, and he is probably a JA for posting that crap. Its a slippery slope to assume you know the person finances of every 62+ year old pilot at this airline. Its an individual choice and I don't care to know what their financial situation is bc its none of my business. Its a crappy time for all.
I think we could max out another VPLOA is they would lower the age. I know a lot of folks that want out.

seems they are also being nitpicky about which categories they hand out the awards too also...In other words not awarding all the VPLOAs to 737 and 320 drivers they could.
