American interviews and class dates
#2071
We have been receiving emails (US side) concerning your OCC date. Sounds like changes may be coming to make that your "main hire date." Guys/gals going forward may hit year two pay on that date. US side year two pay is on hire date. Looking forward to everyone being on the same page.
The company gets us on this horrible year 1 pay for a few extra months with the current system..also would put around 80 folks on the airways side hired after I started in front of myself and my classmates based on when we started indoc and actually finished training.
I agree..to save the confusion we need to just go to the seniority on day of indoc.

DOH should be date of hire, first day of class, it's not hard but like everything it seems AA (management) makes it more complicated than it needs to be .

American's interview was very pleasant. It's easy to be prepared (to include the video interview) and everyone is very excited to have you and the others there (or at least they seem to be). It felt as though once you make it to the in person interview, you are hired unless you show up unprepared or do some really silly stuff during the process. I almost hesitate to say it, but it was actually pretty easy.

Pilot Credentials Assessment
A question about retaking the assessment on the AA Pilot Credentials website.
A buddy's application let him retake the assessment after 6 months. However, my application did not. Its been 9 months and I've always had the green check mark for the assessment on the checklist. When I click on it, it says "Completed".
Does anyone have any insight as to why his reset for a retake and mine has not? Neither of us received the TBNT emails.
Thanks

A few may new hires (already on property) on the AA side may loose a couple of weeks in seniority but I think it will be a wash because of how fast things will be moving in the very near future.
