Nine months is the junior guy.

But if growth in the fleet/base stops, which it has, trying to predict the next time a junior guy can get it is impossible.

80's have been getting mothballed for years. I think 2017 is the end date.

I'll clear up the confusion. Myself & 3 of my classmates (Jan 21 class) got awarded LAX/320 starting Aug 31. So, it was a little over 7 months from DOH. From end of a/c training, about 5 months.

Spent 3 months LGA/320, 1 month DFW/320/I, and now LAX.

We're ramping up MIA/320 right now. I'm sure we'll be adding more 320s in LA soon.

Good luck to my buddy in the class starting tomorrow! Be interesting to see the a/c drop! Praying for my email one of these days!

Recent ord base news blast mentioned no current plans for the bus at ord. Things may change in the future

I understand on the US side it's 3 days in Dallas, followed by 10 work days in Phoenix, plus some (maybe more) time off until ground school. Can anyone shed some light on the bus and 190 training timeframe/schedule? From start to finish, how long does it normally take?

I'd hardly call the 10 day in PHX "work." It's was mostly hanging/gratitude talk for the new job and drinking coffee. CLT bus training was just under 6 weeks. 4 on 2, 3 or 4 off. Then OE.

E-190 training was just over 4 weeks. 4-5 days on, 2-3 off.

I think the 190 and Airbus training footprints are nearly identical. The only difference I saw is that the Airbus has an extra classroom day for international stuff.

Big thread here. What address does the e-mail come from for the video interview? Is there any other correspondence besides the e-mail to let you know you've been selected?
