Wish I had that info for you but I don't. I do know we should see a slight uptick in the 4Q of off the street new hires making their way into class. By 1Q16 the numbers will start to greatly increase since the overwhelming majority of retreads will have been trained by the end of the year freeing up room for poolies and more hiring.

I've been thinking there will be an increase for the last two years.

Well technically there was, unfortunately most of the slots/vacancies went to retreads (MIL, MED, FUR). They also used the merger and aircraft retirements to help reduce the number as well. But the retreads are almost all back, at least those who have chosen to come back, and on the L-US side we’ve parked our last airplane for the foreseeable future plus we start receiving Sharlets ABs this January. Yes not at the rate we expected thanks to Parker deferring some of them but it’s still going to be an increase in ships from where we are now on the L-US side of the house. Add to that our pilot retirements and it will equate to far more new hires on the L-US side compared to 2015.

Your silver tie won't make it until Jan.

I'm just repeating the very words that were spoken to me by the Airbus Fleet Manager 2 weeks ago. It's hearsay to you so I'd take it with a grain of salt too. Besides, even after he spoke these words I knew that until they're parked at the gates with LUS pilots in the seats it's all hot air. I know they're coming but where and when is all dependent upon Parker and his punitive grand scheme for the L-US side of the house. But even without the Sharklet ABs we will hire far more pilots onto the L-US side in 2016 than 2015.
