The senior guys start training first, junior gets most time off. 1-4 weeks off. They do not let you choose.
Aircraft choice is based on what they pull out of the hat that day. No rime or reason. Last class had 767 then they put a displacement out on the 767 - great logic. Was told they cant staff Airbus, but the bus was not even offered as a choice - again no logic.

we need to know if any of the Jan interviewed received the "delay in new hire" email from pilot recruitment. I received it and I was an Oct Interview. If my group was the last to receive the email than it stands to reason that the oct group may not receive a class date until June i.e. 2nd qrt 15.
I was in the Jan 15, 2015 interview class and have not received any info on a class date or any "delay" type info whatsoever. Based off what I'm seeing on this forum, doesn't look like I'll even get a class date before summer.

I received an email yesterday regarding equipment assignments.
I'm returning March 3rd, and although I don't know how many are in the class they're trying to line up equipment bids. So far the choices are the bus and 737 both International and Domestic. Bases of choice are LGA and MIA.
As a previous poster has said, that's sort of the special of the day. As for myself I'll take what is offered but will be immediately be bidding for the 767 and out of either base I'm assigned.
From what I understand (still waiting on an email to confirm this) is we're all returning from furlough in the March 3rd class.
