A friend of mine went to the DC job fair last week and spoke with AA HR. He mentioned that HR told him that anyone who interviewed (F2F) will be in class in the next 6 months. The rate they are pulling pooolies seems to me it will take a lot longer than 6 months. Let's hope I'm wrong and it'll go a lot quicker.

It's bull**** that they can't let someone know who interviewed almost a year ago that they are hired or when they will go to class. The old us air way would let you know within a week sometimes even the same day. This must be more of those superior practices we gained from the sky gods.

I was in the first Jan group. We all received phone calls for the "Congrats and welcome aboard". After that drug testing and finger prints. Since then one or two emails telling us all to "sit tight". I'm assuming we all have a CJO?? Never got an email that said we did. Unless that's in my pile of emails somewhere in cyberspace. Did others get no phone call and just email with a CJO?

I inteviewed in Feb, no one from my group has heard "welcome" nor "thanks but no thanks". I think most of my group would sleep a lot better if we had CJOs. I realize its a frustrating process but in AA defense they are simply holding up their end of the bargain for flow and furloughed guys returning. When I interview I don't think they had an accurate number of furloughed guys electing to come back. I think a little more communication between AA and all of us would go a long way.. But it is what t is! Let's hope we all end up in class at AA in the near future!

Hey C5, during my hiring process last summer, I received my CJO in the form of an email, sent from "[email protected]". The letter was from Patty Taylor, and it requested you go into your pilot credentials application in order to electronically accept the CJO (there was a new tab labled Conditional Offer under the References tab). I had to do this step before I could go in for my drug testing. Hope this helps.
