They have to accept recall by May or June of next year. Not sure how many are left.

They habe to decide, when called, in reverse seniority order, beginning in May.

I would expect few to return. I believe they lost LOS pay if they didn't elect to return during this recall.

Excuse my ignorance but what is LOS pay?

If more furloughed pilots do comeback I would imagine they would wait until after the holidays. Hopefully then more OTS hires can get into class in Oct, Nov & Dec.

Length of service. Guys who accepted recall this Feb, and returned by July, got a two year bump to their LOS.

That generated a recall bump of about 145 guys.

The next group of recallees don't get that two year increase to their longevity pay. That's why people think the number/percentage will be less. But done guys with good current gigs, but realize AA is better in the long term, are delaying their recall until May 2016. How many is anyone's guess. And it goes in reverse seniority order so a senior guy might not get called for several months.

So as a poolie with the likelihood of getting a class in the next couple months is there any chance on the horizon of getting put on the AA side ? Or is it just expected to go to LUS side as a new hire?

I'm an October guy and I think he was the only one. 1 is a really lonely number.
