I don't see what you are trying to say here

Perhaps because they feel they can get 51% with THIER offer and save the expense of calendar day

If the health care issue is the real win here, they could have had that win by giving us the calendar day and having the BOD approve the TA. Done.

I guess the problem I have is that I wouldn't roll the dice like that if I were them, but I'm not them.

Even with a hypothetical $8,000 over the Cadillac cap, the company's responsibility money wise would be half the projected $85 mil min day cost.

I agree with you. If it was that big of a deal, then they would've locked it up with min day, especially if they knew their $85 mil projection was overinflated.

The reality is if we vote no, they save so much cash it dwarfs the expense of the health care costs, HBT, and int'l/dom divisions.

As of now, we obviously still posses things he wants.

It is most certain now that Delta will complete their PWA prior to the 2016 amendable date as indicated from Delta's Senior Vice President of Flight Operations, Captain Steve Dickson's memo yesterday to all Delta pilots. This memo clearly shows how much they value their pilots. Things will certainly change at a rapid pace this year – hold on!

If we vote no on the current AAG proposal, we WILL get at least if not more than the current proposed raise without concessions albeit in the fall of THIS year. Also, AAG knows it. It may only occur once in our life that we have a rival airline CEO on our side. Anderson will FULLY take advantage of our pilot negotiations and drive our pilot cost up significantly here, while at the same time drive pilot cost at Delta up only a few percent. Watch him, for example, propose in lieu of their current profit sharing to instead, lock it into pilot wages. It would be a win-win for them and at the same time put a thorn in AAG's side. Haeneda is another example of a big pain Anderson must now deal with. He will put a lot of pressure on AAG in as many ways as possible. Furthermore, AAG jabbing Delta in many ways is now getting Anderson fed up but helps our cause. We should all write a thank you letter to the Delta CEO. This will happen in a few short months.

We can all wait a few months to receive more by waiting and stop the degradation of our profession. This now makes my NO rock solid.

You can blame your campaigner in chief, Barrack Hussein Obama, along with all his leftist commies, for causing this health care debacle. We wouldnt even be having this discussion if it weren't for him.

Delta management continues to foster outstanding, world class teamwork through mutual respect and world class compensation (including exceptional hotels )....

Meanwhile Parker and Kirby pay Glass to do his best to disrespect employees, foster discontent, and undercut contracts, resulting in an adversarial labor environment (and flea bag hotels ).

Yeah, the hotel accommodations is a perfect summary...

Explain how our industry parity review works. Specifically dates on which it occurs.

Then calculate the difference in pay from our current parity review pay schedule and the company proposed rates.

It's a significant amount of money.

Regardless of what a Delta does, we won't see a dime of their increase.
