No anger here. Be blissful about this development if works for you. I'm OK with it as all that matters to me now is maximizing my bank account for as long as possible and this only helps. My point is it is a product of our undeniable dynamics that have two realities which will become obvious again in the future. Those two realities are that whatever we DO get will either be A. taking what's offered or B. rejecting what's offered and living with what we have.

Pick your future, because IMO thinking it will be anything different is fooling oneself. In fact, in 2020, I plan to happily accept what's offered and be cheerful about it. I'm confident it will be Delta rates and this time I'll overlook the concessions to pay for it and grab the ca$h. I'll be in the majority and so all will be well.

Delta or United compensation packages are never going to happen here. Make the best of the situation by making what you can while you can and don't look back. Like it or not, you're an independent contractor like any non Union employee out in the world. If you REALLY look around at your peers, that's how they operate too even if they don't admit it.

Why fight it anymore ?

Are you really the best forum propaganda expert that alpa has to offer?

They (alpa) are not getting their moneys worth with you.

Can you estimate the amount of total scabs that are on the United (includes former Continental pilots) seniority list?

Hint, it has by far, the most scabs of all Major Airlines pilot lists.

If you can not answer this I will educate you soon.

Unless of course I have hit a nerve with the powers that be, then I will be silenced.

I am baffled why you remain fixated on ALPA or why you associate them with me. Delusion, hallucination, intoxication, obsession or a combination ?

Fascinating, yet baffling.

My best guess... It's one of the late night angry F/Os who post on CNR. I'd say don't feed the troll but I already did.

Any more news on this? Curious if the announcement actually has a plan for implementation or if it was just another bold statement?

Well, the BOD has a meeting this week, so after 2 or 3 days of shouting at each other, petty arguments, overall disfunction and a 30 minute, closed-session discussion on whether or not to go to lunch, we might know something.

The good news is it will be decided over at Cacharel. The bad news is the estimate for the bill will be north of $10K.

Effective government costs.

We have about 600 scabs out of 12,500 pilots, so a little less than 5%. Most of them were from the Continental strike since we had 2,000 scabs on the property by 1985.
