It’s touch and go with where they put you and not type specific. There was a big 74 course all out in Towne Place and three weeks later another course in Residence Inn along with a 76 course

Yowza, that’s pretty volatile for training hotels. Well maybe they are getting folks acclimated to change early on. Thanks for the updates and I will pass on to others.

I wouldn't say it is volatile at all. I was at the Town Place last year for new hire training. There wasn't room at the Residence. 74 class before us was at the Residence. 74 and 77 and 76 class after us were all at the Town Place. Not a big deal. They are right next to each other.

Apologies, volatile was a bit dramatic. Just living in the past when it was Courtyard if no Residence available but eventually everyone rolled into the Residence. Granted, it was not a time of the 777 yet and maybe the first 76 class was just on property so we didn’t have much going on other than Whale parties. There was one overflow hotel but used minimally. Makes sense with all the new hires/equipment expansion as well as recurrent additions, thx.

I received a congratulations email saying that Atlas will send a CJO once they decide class date and fleet. That's been almost a week ago and I've heard nothing since.
Don’t fret, HR are really snowed under at the moment, if you don’t hear anything after a two weeks you could email back they won’t have forgotten you, they’re just busy

If yes, can you keep the hotel room during that time or do you have to pack everything up and take it with you?
Thanks.
No, but if you have days off you can ask for permission to go home. Travel home during your course is in you

I interviewed Thursday… asked how long to hear back. Got 7-10 days. 16 hours later I had a CJO, 18 hrs I had the formal offer.. right at 24 hours after interview I had an official class date.

Good question, the 76 is really backed up so our sister class (Im 74) is going home for 4 weeks after systems, no word on 74 on 74 classes yet but they said IOE could be months after the type ride?
