I'll rank the seniority of the bases again just for fun... I tiered them this time to give people an idea of how big the jumps are. I've been around 3.5 years and would be the last guy at PAE. I still can't hold IAH.
Tier 1
1. IAH
2. PAE
Tier 2
3. MIA
4. LAX
5. JFK
Tier 3
6. CVG
7. HSV
Tier 4
8. ANC
If you get a 747 instead of a 767, plan on ANC for an extended stay. They'll have to keep you up there so they don't have to show a lower 48 vacancy and release 767 FOs waiting for a non-ANC base.

Howdy. Just wanna to chime in that they was straight shooting in the interview. Nothing crazy. Same as it says here. Real nice folks too. Tech panel and HR panel and done in not much more than half a day. If you can read weather and jepps and don't mind the work then it's easy going. The only thing I'm wondering about is that paper where we checked off a porn category. I picked female and Asian because they didn't have lesbian on there. What'd y'all pick?
They want to know who your prom date was.

Oh, and congrats on a successful interview. Sounds like you'll probably be swimming soon.

Thanks this is helpful. I interviewed this week and it went pretty well I thought. We were told hiring is only for the 747 for the next several classes.

I also know that some seat locks expired last month and it may be a little while before the next ones expire. I'm sure they'd like to have the 747 fully staffed before that happens so that they can better control the flow.
New Grand Overlord of Training said recently we'd be doing classes of 24 747 new hires every three weeks beginning April 20 "for the near term and potentially continuing into the future." (Which translates to: we will, until we won't.")
Globemaster2827, they can control the flow if they limit 747 new hires to ANC, although a few guys coming off seat locks would take that, too.

That's basically what they told us at the interviews this week, too.
