Most excellent! Aviation is a small fraternity and there may even be some fellow TZ (ATA Airlines) warriors in that number. I know several that went to Connie after 3 April 2008.

The phone interview. TMAT/STAR question on handling an emergency. Failed checkrides and lessons learned. Why Atlas? Why leave my current employer? What aircraft do I want? Is the schedule okay? Do I know anyone at Atlas? When did I start applying to Atlas? A couple other admin type questions.
Only the TMAT/STAR and checkride questions seemed out of place from a normal bar stool conversation. The rest just flowed from a back and forth about why I'd like to work for Atlas. It was polite and non-adversarial. I'd say just do standard interview prep. List some reasons why you want to work for Atlas. List some things that have happened to you in the aircraft and with coworkers. Have your schedule handy. I was offered a choice of interview dates after the admin questions.

Good gouge, fadec. To those reading, please pay close attention to question #6. It should come as absolutely no surprise at all to anyone following this forum that change is a way of life here at Atlas. I know that one can't get through a day of interview time without being asked that question several times. Yet, it always seems to come as a shock to new hires when their posted schedule comes apart. Here's the deal: If a firm structure in life is what you desire then please consider carefully whether this is a good fit. If a looser fit is OK and the occasional adventure sounds like fun then come on in, the water's fine!
