I've been here just under a year and once out on the line the lowest I've credited in a month was 70, with a high of 95 in Dec. Most months have been around 75 to 80 hours credit.

Okay thanks. Hopefully there will be alot of movement this year and the competitive mins will drop and this number may change too. I haven't really had the opportunity to meet any Atlas guys out on the line.

Finished the online assesmemt today. Are the results of this used during the interview for anything? What is the typical timeframe to hear something further after taking the test?

Has anyone been hired without jet time in an aircraft over 12.5? I have 4300+ Total Time, 1100+ TPIC, but no jet time in an aircraft over 12.5 (PIC or SIC), and no 121 experience.... just curious if I need to possibly start looking at other opportunities to increase my experience.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Be careful with that. I'm telling you that if you call in sick, have training that conflicts with your schedule, or have vacation that you'll get 62 hours of pay. Period. The months that you don't have that you'll get in the vicinity of 72. Captains currently have training 3 different months a year and 21 days of vacation. The months where you have none of those situations you'll probably get around that being gone around 16 days not counting gateway.

You've done the math by saying Jet Blue is a little more. We're optimistic that we'll get some gains in the next contract, but right now we're just not there.

My historical average is @ 72 hours/month.
Agreed but usually it's a half day on the front and back end of each trip. That shaves off 4.85. Rig is calculated by the hour not 4.85 if the schedule touches any part of a day. Then you usually either have a 16 day line or they "optimize" your schedule taking away pay that you would've been owed IF we had line protection. Thus 72... I've had them "optimize" me from 75 hours all the way down to 62 hours. I did get extra time at home for that though.

I'd have my stuff out everywhere and someone will call. That's just me... I think that's competitive for Atlas particularly if some of that is international.

Will they start hiring guys without internal recs? I'm seeing all these guys who have the same quals as me getting hired, and the one place I want to go and stay isn't getting back to me.
