Just spoke to a management type and he said as of the Feb '11 class assignment, only two left in the pool. So the recent interviews will have an almost empty pool to jump into. Does that sound right to the poolies here?
Definitely, classes through June.

Also, they said the last planned class is scheduled for May. NOT to mean that there won't be any hiring past may, only that they have yet to receive any confirmation from higher ups (yet) about any classes past May. FWIW, there seemed to be buzz that there will be due to demand, just no hard numbers yet.
Again, FWIW, just what the HR rep told us.

If a light twin is announced, all bets are off. The same guy said, light twins by the end of the year, or BEFORE, with a wink.
He said light twin training will be with Boeing, not with Delta, which is the current rumor.

Well, the interview went A-W-E-S-O-M-E! I only home the feeling was mutual....
Our intreview class had 11 this past Wednesday. 8 domestic carrier guys, 1 -135 type, and 2 military. Everyone seemed really great. I hope we all got it!
Anyone know how long it takes to get some reponse? And is it true good/bad, you WILL ge a repsonse via a FED-EX delivered letter?
Have any of the Wednesday, 16 Feb, interviewees received anything?

Best of luck to all! Been here since April of last year and I can tell you that Atlas is way, WAY better than my previous gig of 14 years. If you are cool with globe hopping and a varying schedule then you will love it here. A certain sense of adventure is absolutely necessary but if you have that then this is hands down the place to be.

I have a feeling you might start seeing parts and pieces of the new CBA come out over the next couple months....
