Atlas Air Hiring
Hi everyone, been reading on the forum for a while and really appreciate all the great info! I have a question that I haven't been able to find the answer to. Can you complete the online test on a Apple MacBook Pro? I know on the Atlas web site it says that the PAQ application cannot be accessed by any Mac device, yet I was able to complete it on my MacBook Pro (New 2015 version) with out a problem. Maybe their web site is not up to date? Anyway, with the application completed and sent in, I was wondering if anyone knew if I would be able to complete the online test (if given the opertunity) on my MacBook Pro? Or if unable to using my Safari browser, is their another browser I could download that would work? Thanks for any info you can provide!

Since I started applying early 2012, ai have received only 2 confirmation emails thanking me for applying. I have updated my application many times since then of course, but without receiving a confirmation email. I was wondering if others have had this issue? And if it is indeed an issue or just a computer glitch...
Thank you.
Thank you.

For those that have interviewed on site and not been selected, were you offered to apply again in the future, or asked not to? If you were offered to apply again in the future, was it 6 or 12 months as with failure of the test or not being called after the test?
Also, for those that were told that the HR person needed to talk with the chief pilot after your phone interview to determine if you are offered a class date, did any wait more than a week to hear back, and still end up being offered a class? If not selected at that point, is there usually a solid statement of such, or should it just be inferred after a certain amount of time has gone by?
I know there is a certain level of it being a waiting game in the application process, that is fine. I am more just trying to gain an understanding on this aspect, especially as most posts on the subject seem to indicate successful HR phone interviews almost always immediately lead to interview dates being offered. Is that representative of the process, or is it somewhat common for a successful HR phone interview to have a delay in leading to an offer for an interview date (perhaps due to waiting for more interview date slots to open up)?

I have been sending them updates 3 or 4 times a year for the last 6 years...8000 hours almost all international, 8 types including 4 jets, lived and worked in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and South America. Nothing but crickets...guess it's time for another update.
^^Since their window doesn't seem to close, update every 30 days is a very good idea. Just like Delta or United. Plus the job fair is key. Womens in Aviation, OBAP, ect. Those usually trigger an invite to the assessment test.
