I did the test last week and waiting by the phone too....

 

Next round of interviews will be in MIA, October 6-8. That means interview calls will probably start this coming week. Rumor has it that this will be another big interview group. Big group means lots of phone calls being made by just a few people in NY, so be patient if you don't get a call right away. If you passed the online assessment recently, I'd say your chances of getting a call are very high. If you got the invitation for the assessment recently but haven't taken it yet, take it ASAP, for God's sake!

If you took the assessment a while ago (for an earlier interview cycle) but never connected on the phone interview, my advice is different: Don't be patient... You may have drifted off their radar. Send an email or try to call (lotsa luck getting through on the phone this week) to let them know you're still interested. I speak from experience on this...

AJH and Papacharlie, how long was is from when you submitted your app to when you got the test? From reading the thread I know there are some that have waited years to hear anything but still curious.

Thats because they are losing guys faster then they can get them.

 

every fiber of my body wishes it was even remotely true!

The fact is, hardly any airline with decent working conditions and pay needs pilots nowadays and can afford to be as picky as their capricious little heart desires!
