Im looking to make a career out of this. Dont care to go to the majors and never gave a hoot to fly pax. Boxes dont scream. I know that a small portion of Atlas does pax charter. This is right up my alley. Hotels and airports is what im looking for..

I've been playing galley master behind two new hires doing OE this week. They were both April hires.

Ah, galley master for OE pilots...even at our crap wages I sometimes feel guilty for how easy those days are!

EVERY pilot at Atlas is a PAX pilot. If you are very senior, you could bid a base where there is no PAX flying, and if your schedule changes to make you fly PAX, you can scream at scheduling and probably avoid it. If you are junior, you will fly PAX. About half my current pattern was pax (Hajj pilgrims).

IAH is almost all PAX flying.

My worst legs/trips have been cargo legs, due to a variety of problems.

However, unless you are at IAH and doing the 8 working days to get 90+ hour deal, you will be flying a lot less PAX than at the Legacy carriers.

For the right person, I think Atlas is a really good place to work.

Wow! That is fast. I got that email but chose to delay taking the test. Good luck this week. How long many hours you study before taking the test?

Last time I checked - The most JR bases (ANC and CVG) have very little pax flying.

In 5 1/2 years I've done three pax flights. That was while being based in JFK. One needs to pay attention to the flights on the bidlines. I bid my days off footprint first. Then I go back through and throw everything with a 747Y (code for pax flight) out of the pool. The three pax flights I did wind up with were the result of being tagged in mid pattern.
