You sure this is a gig you really want, with a callsign of "ASpilot2be," you sure you won't ditch us as soon as AS calls? Just getting tired of having so many guys come here for a year or two, then bail when the airline they really want calls. Does nothing to help the pilot group. It's getting old, fast. Plenty of us here are trying to make this a place to stay, it's hard to do when folks keep ditching us for their "real dream Airline." You callsign makes me think you'll do the same. Not judging, just saying "the writings on the wall"...or in your case, your Avitar.

Msa definition, V1 definition, Vmcg, Vr, climb segments, stuff like that, nothing too hard. Questions will change depending on who interview you.
So, same topics as the online written, just in a verbal format?

This is just a screen name from a long time ago when Alaska was my goal. I really have no desire to go to Alaska anymore. After working in Atlas ops in Anchorage I realized I would enjoy that flying a whole lot more.

I understand your frustration. I won't be that guy.

Could I please get a realistic figure of one would expect to make in their first year (12 month stretch including the training pay)? I know it's a little more complex then taking guarantee multiplied by 50. Someone said it's at 62 first year guarantee. Not sure if APC is accurate or not.

5K a month after training pay. With no OT, if you try and include OT I would still say 5K a month, as a New hire it will be very tough to get close to any overtime.

The guys leaving will only make it easier for us to get a contract that makes this a place to stay.

Would be awesome if the attrition picks up and we have more new hire class no shows.

5Y ISNT UAL/DAL/AS/SW/FX/UPS or whatever else......

And as long as it ISNT, you'll ALWAYS have people leaving for the aforementioned, or others. And until it IS, many will see it as an intermediate stop/stepping stone that was better than their last job, or were simply hired when their last job went tango uniform and there simply wasn't many jobs available.

Your career ISNT their career. NO ONE has ANY right to b1tch moan complain if people are leaving for whatever else, for whatever reason. If you feel you have the right to dictate to ANYONE what they should do with their career you haven't been in this game very long.

As another poster said, it HELPS and doesn't hurt.

Sorry for the harsh words, but get over it.

There is more than enough overtime available. You can pull down 100k first year if you volunteer on days off.
