Atlas Air Hiring
I took the test in early November and scored well. I'm sure its due to the drawdown for the holiday season, but should I submit an updated resume and PAQ or am I beyond that and in a holding pattern? Cheers!

Submitted a new app nearly every flight hour when I was getting serious about Atlas. Got a call/interview in a month of doing so. I recommend resubmitting as often as possible.

"Resumes may be updated every three to six months to ensure your most recent flight times and experiences are reflected in our system."
I want the job but I would hate to blatantly disobey their instructions on applying. Thoughts?

When was this? The automated response I got after submitting my PAQ in Oct. specifically said,
"Resumes may be updated every three to six months to ensure your most recent flight times and experiences are reflected in our system."

When you guys say you 'updated', do you mean you resent your PAQ and Resume to the crewops email?

I was just offered a 767 class. Would any of you 767 guys be willing to give some updated insight on QOL?
Does the international flying go senior? Could a junior CVG FO avoid a month full of domestic night-flying? Can you sleep on the 4hr stopovers? I'm trying to imagine up to 17 days in a row of flying all night and sleeping all day... and it seems kinda rough. On long international flights, where does the 3rd pilot rest? Is it possible to sleep? How many credit hours are you averaging monthly these days? Good crews?
Also, will KF allow you to hold out for a 747 class?

-the international flying does not go all senior, although the AMC flying is generally seen as desirable. I've taken many AMC trips in my first year.
-the DHL hub flying is never 17 straight. The DHL system is basically M to F, plus you have to get your 24/7. So it would probably be more like 5 on, an off day and then a reserve day, then 5 on, etc. Out of the 17 you might operate 12.
-Some pilots sleep on the 4 hour sort layover. It depends on you.
-For 3 or 4 pilot operations, on the pax bird you will get a 'business' class seat for rest. For the Asian 767-300 ops, there's either the jump seat or most will make a little 'nest' in the back.
-You probably won't make more then guarantee. However, OT is available and quite lucrative.
-The crews have generally been great. Some new captains around, but they are very experienced and sharp pilots, just new to the airplane.
Good Luck! Don't feel like you have to settle for the 767. Many like it enough that they are happy to stay in the airplane.
