Can anyone who's taken the new 100 ? Test (or anyone who might be in the know) please elaborate on the types of questions now on that test please? Is it an expansion on the old 50 ? test with similar ?'s coming from the same bank maybe, or is it a revamp of the entire test, or is it 50 brand new ?'s from a new bank that go along with the old profile of questions that I have been studying rigorously? Is there a new direction to go with the studying for the new 100 ? Test? As always any help is greatly appreciated. I WANT this job!

Thanks for your response. I'm in the pool awaiting patiently! I've flown internationally with Mil for 10+ yrs., however, it was a little easier to bring a larger bag with a keeper jet with no worries of losing luggage in the commercial system. Just seems like a carry-on would take some creative planning to pack for 17 days when you can be in 100+ degree one day and -0 the next.

Can any of you Atlas people help me out?
I'm looking for one of your captains that lives in Omaha. He used to fly checks at night for Airnet Express, Karl is his first name. I'll leave his last name off of here for privacy concerns.
Any and all help is appreciated.
-Thanks!

First pic of one of the Atlas Air Boeing 767ER (N641GT) posted at the link below...

This is the first of several trips across the N Atlantic for B767 Ops Specs approval and 180-min ETOPS approval...a total of 3 trips (6 flights) planned for the next few days.
Good luck if you are still interested in Atlas...should keep you motivated.

Thanks...now, if I can just get to fly the airplane and start my Captain's OE. That'll not start until after the above mentioned approvals are finished and the guys ahead of me finish their airplane check out. Seniority rules, you know.

Question: Reading some other threads on Atlas, there was one fellow who wrote about getting a "pool" letter and never got called? They re-applied, interviewed... then got another "pool" letter, and again, never got called... applied a third time and got the "no-thank you" letter. Is this common or do most folks in "the pool" eventually get called?
Any professional insights anyone has would be fantastic.
To all those waiting for a training date... hope Santa leaves you one under the tree...

Not sure how many are "swimming in the pool" with us. I interviewed in mid Sept and have been "swimming" for little over a month since receipt of the letter. Can't wait to get some words as to when we'll get to go to training and join the ranks of those already "hauling the mail."

What day in Sept. did you interview? I was the 14th. It sounds like around forty something interviewed in Sept. I think the pool was almost empty before our interviews. If half got the pool lettet then there should be thirty something in the pool. I hope they run a few big classes soon!!
