Atlas Air Hiring
Last week one FO was on OE who was a July hire but he may have dropped Mil Leave on scheduling. Was supposed to start this trip twelve days ago with a student on leg one of OE but the Check Airman got rerouted so the student was sent elsewhere. He was a September hire.

Despite two fishing expeditions to incite a conversation about why people are leaving Atlas, or why you and others might think it is a crap place to be, still no one is biting. Get a hint: this thread is Atlas Air Hiring.
Go start or continue your own thread about Atlas Air Resignations or Teamsters Warn of Crisis at Atlas (oh yeah, that's the Kalitta thread at pprune.)
Clearly we care more about getting in rather than out.
Happy trails in your endeavor of choice!

Anyone given any credence to the idea that Atlas may flush the SA pilots prior to merger?
Atlas hiring, albeit a pig in a poke, is none-the-less pretty detailed in scrutiny and the SA pilot group has not been vetted by Atlas.
Not to be the devils advocate but what could prevent Atlas from avoiding liability and deleting the SA pilots from the equation?
Hence the hiring spree, which is justified enough on it's own, regardless of the SA acquisition.
Just an idle thought...
