Working at Atlas is like working at The United Nations...

Many nationalities, many backgrounds, a rich diversity.

If you are legally permitted to work in the US (Registered Alien/Greencard Holder) and hold a passport of any nationality you are an equal contender for a pilot position, providing everything else is in order.

No issues with the additional cost surrounding vetting for the training.

"A rich diversity.. " What the vfck does that mean? Are you "stronger" because of it? Guess you got your PC creds renewed.

There is no word on anything having changed. So I would assume classes of 16 for the 76 every three weeks and classes of 24 with every other class having 32 for the 74.

I thought they slowed down the classes. I don't remember hearing about May or early June classes.

Haven't got pizza party invites for a while now!

Your right they haven't had any new classes but that has been known from previous announcements. Looking forward I would assume that training and hiring will continue.

I am looking through a curtain that is closed from the outside through a sliver of light.

Much gratitude to the several ABX and Southern Air pilots that were walking the picket line in NY yesterday. We are all in this fight together guys. Thanks for your support.

Latest I heard:

IF current attrition continues at the current rate, and programmed increase in airframes/flying pans out, we need to hire about 650 pilots over the next 2 years.

Probably our attrition will increase, and I think for sure we will have existing and new customers asking for lift above and beyond our planned increases, so I think the 650 numbers are the floor of new hires required.

Namaste...
