No kidding! So how many days to expect to get off each month when you move up in seniority?

When I bang in sick or conflict bid it can be more which drops me to min guarantee with R1's being stuck on the front or back but i'd rather be at home regardless.

pm me for more details.
Anyone have any comparison for the 767?

By KF....

She had asked me if I was interested in a Southern Air Class that
Was beginning on December 22, 2016.

I, respectfully declined, and indicated to her, that my preference was
to stay on the Atlas Air Side Of The House.

She indicated that that was NO PROBLEM and she told me that they had a B747 Class in January 2017, a B767 Class in February 2017, and a B747 Class in March 2017.....

Today is January 4, 2017, and I haven't heard anything from anyone.

Any Atlas Pilots out there able to give me any guidance, OR Intel,
On the New Hire Classes at The School House?

I'm a little hesitant on calling KF Directly, but, I sometimes believe Time Is Of The Essence!

HELP!
What do you have to loose?

For some of us the phone rings... Others? Not so much... When our number comes up at those other companies we'll all be gone. We're starting to lose 747 Captains as 2nd year pay at FedEx and UPS is more with better work rules and benefits.

It's about 25% less... I want to say that my pay would be $147 an hour in the 767 and $179 an hour in the 747 but from what I understand you credit more hours on the 747.

Are you kidding me? You are salaried at 4.85 hours per day you are away from home. That's it and that's all. If your block+measly deadhead credit manages to sum more than your CRT (daily salary) once in a blue moon then you must've ****ed off scheduling to wind up working that much.

It doesn't matter what airplane you are on you get 4.85 per day you are gone. Our contract is absolute horse ****

Know before you go

Don't plan on overtime to makeup first year pay. All goes senior, and right now no one is picking up anything unless you want to cross your brothers. You will be gone 17+ days a month unless you live in base. the plus? You get to travel to and from work on your off time. That's two more full days you lose at home.
Guys and gals abondoning this sinking ship, because there is no way they will be able to staff this place. Amazon flying will be subbed out to someone else. DHL will continue to try and whipsaw contractors until they can't fly their own routes.
Unless you want another failed airline added to your resume, stay where you are, things are moving fast. A good airline will scoop you up. Everyone here is ALL OUT

Know before you go

This company, you better be tracking your pay. Because they will short you. Perdiem, hours, over guarantee? Doesnt matter they will short you. I've never worked for a company that would pull such nonsense.
On top of that minimal pay and or shorted pay. The company is going to hit you with imputed income in travel and hotels to and from work. So just when you thought you might bring home an ok check. You get hit with more taxes for all that travel to and from anchorage, our junior base you will be starting at.

I would guess you'd get an extra day a month unless you live near CVG. If you live near CVG you'd get a TON of extra days at home on the 767.
