We are already there... Legally, we can only refuse if the Cathay pilots go on strike. We are standing by.

Please let us know in advance. Atlas / Polar / Southern are all represented by Teamsters Local 1224.

Please have your union leaders call us at 1-800-294-1224 if a strike is being planned.

See you on the picket line.

I did on the 3rd. Seemed like there were around 25 in attendance. I'm still waiting to hear. I think I heard Denise say it would be around Wednesday or so.

It baffles me how we still have people showing up for interviews still. Are candidates not aware of everything that is going on here or do people just want a fast track to fly a 747? Despite what you were probably told in the interview, we will not have a contract by the end of this year, nor will you make $90K your first year. Just something for applicants to keep in mind.

Despite "how bad" atlas is- it's far better than working 80 legs a month for a **** bag RJ operator that may or may not be around.

Maybe atlas gets a new CBA soon, maybe not. There is growth and a fair amount of stability here opposed to others.

Worst case. You come, you leave with your type.

We were told expect something by June 11th. I interviewed on the 4th. Think I fumbled on a couple easy tech questions...hopefully getting two of her bonus questions correct made up for it!!!
But no real feedback from anyone on my panels. They are good at not hinting either way lol!

Agreed!! Atlas may have its problems, many Im sure but it beats the hell out of flying the RJ 80 legs a month being absolutely smashed at the end of a trip.

As you say, dont like it or they dont get their act together in first 2 years of being there then just leave, no hassle.

Understandbly the Atlas pilot group have a lot to be upset about but I dont see too many off them beating down the door at Envoy or Republic.
