Uhhhh .... And I'm thinking that the far east - China, Korea, Japan - will stay pretty strong for a while.

Well Mexican goods have become very competitive.
Have you heard any Romney's speeches on China?

I don't have time to google and post the articles on that stuff.

First, one has to understand the Atlas business model. The exposure is there and larger for companies like UPS and FedEx. Atlas is neither.

Care to explain this further? Some of us are a little slow and require greater detail to thoughts.....you're post above isn't very clear.

Thanks!

Sure. FedEx and UPS are scheduled operations that operate no matter what, no matter the load. If freight peaks or ebbs, the flights go and the costs are incurred.

Atlas is a diversified model. Customers lease the aircraft and the schedule flexes to meet their requirements. And they pay the for the fuel. If they decide not to operate, so be it. But the still pay the bill each month.

To further illustrate my "slowness".....just reread my post and noticed the "you're" when it should've been "your." Guess that's what happens when one mixes whiskey with the internetz. Oops! One of my huge pet peeves and I fell victim to it myself. Guess I'll step out and head over to the TOTD thread.

So I'm staying at the Marriott complex this weekend and made a stroll through the grill area. Nobody home. Oh well, guess ill try another time. Here I figured it was a Saturday afternoon, there'd be some solid grill action going on....another time, I guess.

There was significant grill action Friday night. Need to work on your timing.

One class is approaching type rating rides and another has orals coming up...so, your timing might be ok, but their schedules are likely pretty demanding.

Good try, though. Better luck next time...
