Atlas Air Hiring
#4742
So has anyone counted how many have gotten hired all together from the 16th 17th and 18th round of interviews? From what i am reading me and the military lady from the 16th round got hired. Who else? Im trying to figure out how many are in the pool.
From what i hear jannuary is when people are gonna get class date. Im so excited, its such a privilege to be in the pool. The company seems to be doing good, so the pool should empty up soon i believe.

I don't think the pool will empty any time soon...let me explain.
Atlas will want to keep a pool to draw from, so interviewing will continue in the New Year, AND some of you that scored very high in the selection process will get class dates.
If you don't get class dates, you will get shuffled in with the interviewing that is likely to continue for quite some time to come in 2013.
No, I don't have any information about numbers...just a hunch, an intelligent hunch, but still a hunch.

And, of course, there's that guy that likes to spread unrealisitic rumors. (Sarcasm there for those of you that need help) His web name is Springer. When I take over the world he'll be a spy for me!

Pool emptying, polarfr8dog getting a pay raise and another stripe in 2013. ¡Bueno!
I've got a recc in the pool, another one who was to expect a phone screen that never occurred, and a bud waiting on an interview.
Hope to see all ya'll in MIA soon 'nuff.

Just to clarify what 744 said and sorta meant. Its a LIVE pool...meaning you get scored... everyone who scores higher than you and gets IN the pool with you will be pulled from the pool first... it is theoretically possible to get in the pool and never get out....or be the last out... some spent over a year in the pool during the last big push.

That is the way the pool at Atlas works...and btw, also the way the pool used to work at UPS. So, our folks are not the only ones that do the selection for class dates...it is a competitive pool, and the higher your total score (from the minute you pick up the phone call from 914 area code to the time you walk out of the interview in Miami), the shorter you will need to swim.
And actually, polarfr8dog, I had forgotten the retirements that are going to start soon...I was just referring to the expansion. But thanks for the reminder about retirements...
Good luck.

Hello All!
I wanted to take a moment and ask another question in regards to the PDQ and Atlas Career Page.
In reading some of the last pages of the thread, some have mentioned that they have submitted multiple (up to four) PDQ files. I have only sent one which was on the first day of the application window. Today, I took a look at the Atlas Career Page and it mentions that the PDQ form can not be "accessed" by any MAC device. I submitted my one PDQ via and IPAD back in August with every indication that it went through.
Is it possible to find out if my PDQ actually exists in the system?
Should I make another PDQ submission with a PC? Or will that potentially mess things up with the original PDQ that may be on file?
Sounds like interviews will continue for the foreseeable future! That's wonderful news to hear working overseas on contract wishing to be back in the US! I'm hopeful, at least, to have an opportunity! Congratulations to all of those that have found success thus far!
