The longest I heard of before you was 1 year. I was told that if you are in the pool u well get called...unless off course they dissolve the pool...but that is not happening with the pilot shortage we have now.

Any thoughts/suggestions from the vets, for a rookie on this topic? TIA.
Wait until you get home with the a group of days off. Send it in via overnight shipping on the company card. There's a lot to be said sitting at home waiting for it to come back to you vs. the stress during a layover and especially one that may not happen since we have to be so "flexible."

Done it twice in the little over nine years I've been here. Never been a problem.

Thanks, I will probably wind up doing that, problem is my current 60 day line kinda sucks... Max I have off is 8 in a row, when you throw in travel it's 6, unless they launch me again at 0100 on day 1 then I lose another day....

ORD is also a great option if you have a long overnight. They take appointments online and it only takes a few hours to get it back. It's in the federal building just off the blue line downtown.

Call them! I'm sure they're in the office right now, in fact.

You only have 6 days off if they get the passport back to you in time....

Just send it in on a off day, if it gets back OK, if not you will just be restricted to domestic. Not your problem, unless you are on pace for a good overtime month. Timing is everything :-)

Could be, but currently we're at @ 10% pax.
