Avelo on the other hand might be a consideration for them.

Delta would be an obvious choice since they want 220s and ABC can't deliver. JetBlue wants more as well.
SWA isn't going to go to a second type with such a small obscure fleet. I think they're waiting for Spirit to fail and pick up those pieces. Allegiant? Maybe but they're in over their chin with their poor choice to get the 737MAX.
Either way nobody is buying Breeze as an airline. They don't own anything and they fly to places nobody else flies to and they have a lot of debt and they have unionized groups that will need to be dealt with (merged). It will be parted out in Ch 7 instead which avoids these problems.

I think the most likely outcome is the other airlines wait Breeze out and then grab the planes when they go TU. I'm hearing 18 more months?

Not that SWA is going to buy Breeze but sure Avelo, with their handful of used old 737s is exatly what SWA needs...

From: DOWNGRADE COMPLETE: Thanks Gary. Thanks SWAPA.
How do you come up with 8 months? There’s literally nothing that’s been going on or that we’re witnessing that they’ll be closing shop in the near future. They’re talking about fleet plans for next year and beyond, we’ve got the second A220 sim, still hiring, constantly talking about how we’re growing and doing better than other airlines right now. Including praise from industry insiders, excited investors. No upper management has left etc. What are you basing this on?

Exactly. Let’s put things in perspective. SWA has 800+ airframes while Avelo has 16 in service. No offense to Avelo peeps, but what would be the point especially since none of them are newer MAXs but rather older NGs.

Lol there's no rose colored glasses, it's just reality. Look at the trends, don't go off of what happend last year or the year before. They now have turned profitable months and are looking to at least break even as they grow later in the year. Some are freaking out because they told us a few days ago they won't be profitable this quarter. But it's not like we expected to anyways, they only said a few months ago they planned on being profitable March that was it.
