Not true. There’s some protection for the initial cadre 74 guys, but the recent moves from MD-11 to 74 have placed them in proper seniority.

For anyone looking at coming here:
Great international flying heavy equipment. Great training program. Easy money especially after upgrade. Base first year is now 85+ a year without per diem and 110+ with the 20 extension. More people we get the less mandatory 20 day extensions there will be. New union with a good track record and consistent growth and expansion year over year. Home based with travel on work days, not off days.
Yes, plenty of downsides here too but looking at ACMI it’s a well kept secret, compared to a lot of places the company culture is good and potential for growth is very good. Worth a look over Atlas and others for sure.

Indeed can someone shed light on this? From my understanding you travel on day 1 and day 17 unless extended but you don't have a set schedule you just know you're on the road for 17-20 days. How exactly does that work, do you bid lines based on off days?

I have a couple of friends at WGA, one of them was my chief pilot back in PR. No secret sauce. You can tell Kool-Aid is served in other places, not just Skywest.
