They will extend you beyond 16 days if they need to, just happened to me. Turned my 16-12 into 19-9. Not trying to complain, just saying 16 isn’t the max you will stay out if they’re in a bind

So in that industry leading contract y’all have, how many days can they do that before they have to start replacing your days off? 😐🤨

Never mind. We all know the answer.

Look I’m not here to catch and sling poo with other ACMI pilots. The thread drifts that happen on this site are absolutely unnecessary.

This is a problem that I hope gets fixed next round of negotiations. But I hope that made you feel better, and you’re walking a little taller now. Mark yourself a little win tally on that one

There’s a few lines that do, but the vast majority do not.

How much do you credit with 19-9...60? Sorry for all the questions just trying to get more information. I would like to make the move from the regionals

You're about the only one on this planet that seems to think ATI has an industry leading contract. No one here does. So stay jealous, my friend.

But to answer your question, it's how ever many days that are involved. You got junior assigned? It's your choice as to whether you get the days back, or get paid extra for them.

The term "junior assignment" is a bit of a misnomer here. Since we're home based, factors other than seniority can come into play, such as geographic proximity. But if the factors come in as a tie, seniority will win.

Regardless of why you might be extended past the end of your trip, regardless of whether you're on a line of time or on a reserve line, and regardless of whether your line is only 13 days or the full 16 (which includes a travel day at the beginning and possibly at the end as well), if you are assigned anything on a day off, you are either paid 4 hours of overtime or you get the lost day or days back in the current or the next bid month. If you happen to break 60 hours of pay credit, that's yours either way.

To answer your question, if you had a 16-day line, and you were extended to 19, you'd be either paid 12 hours of overtime (3 days times 4 hours), plus the flying credit if your total for the bid month exceeded 60 hours, or you'd get the lost days off later, plus the credit if you exceeded 60. Even if your line was less than 16 days, you'd be paid the full 4 hours per lost day off.

Don’t we also get 3.75 of RIG for every day over 16? Or something like that. It’s all clear as mud.

Possibly. Rig is one of three base pay figures. Flying credit and 60 hours (BUG) are the other two. Whichever is greatest of the three becomes your base pay. Anything such as VOL, training on a day off, or JRA is paid above that.
