"Give and take"...."process"....it's great to hear those words being used.

The answer is a resounding "NO" to this LOA ---- then the company and MEC can politely sit back at the table to continue to "negogiate" and come to an equitable deal for all.

No STV "coercion"...no "substandard" living stds for junior folks, or new hires, or anyone working in the area where FEDEX is truly growing.

This LOA sets the std for our international basing.

With a "yes" vote you don't get the opportunity to fix the inadequacies of this LOA now ---- with a "No" vote you do.

After all, life is all about options!

Default How 'bout this?

It seems this could have been more acceptable if the language limited INvoluntary STV's to a month, so three month STV's would be voluntary only. That way, if it went senior as the company says, it will be a non-issue. If it doesn't get bid, us low-enders only endure a month max.

I don't think anything will change at this point, but if the company must have this, here is middle ground.

Another irony of the STV's. The NC was very proud of their fix to trip rig in this last contract. Isn't STV allowing the company away around it?

Do you think you will be paid 3.75 to 1 for your time away from Memphis if you are on an STV?

DW endorsement is out, no mention of STVs. Although he did clear up that taxes on the $40K per year will be paid by fedex.

Yes. You'll be paid trip rig when you're on a trip. That is, away from your new temporary base.

Why should you be paid trip rig the whole time? You're going to be on vacation. Remember?

Remarkably similar to the give and take we just enjoyed on Age 60.

And Passover for MEM 11 FOs.

And VEBA.

And Scope Payments.

So this mgmt guy comes on here, a public forum, and chides us into revealing who we are so he can assign "credibility" to our statements?
First of all, I don't care if he feels the need to "legitimize" my opinions or statements. Who does he think he is..the high school principal? If he doesn't like what I or anybody else says on this forum; it's like the TV, turn it off.
And does he actually think that I don't understand that he is MANAGEMENT and ultimately has an incredible amount of discretion in whether or not a guy goes to some type of disciplinary hearing or it's handled behind closed doors with a stern lecture? First time he has the chance to ram it up some guy's keester who has had the audacity to come on here and badmouth him, one of his old Union buddies or his new boss, you don't think he won't in some way be inclined to get a little payback?? Anonymity just MAY keep you from receiving an unpaid vacation if he stays in his position for long!
And when he talks about hanging out in the AOC so we may kiss the ring or even have him invite us back to his office so he may enlighten us in a more intimate setting; do you think he ever considered coming and visiting us in OUR office. Yep..doing the hub turns day in and day out and putting it on the line. I would venture to guess that this ACP probably flies one, max two pm out and backs every month just to stay on the cutting edge of what we do for a living...and then comes on here and lectures us about having ahem...credibility.
Sometimes I think UPS has it right. At least they know that management is management...not some guy pretending to be a line dog who avoids flying the line by taking a Mon-Fri office job.
And I still struggle with the ethics of how a guy can overnight go from being the chairman of the grievance committee to a management type who looks to hang some pilots for missing a call from skeds, oversleeps for an am show time after a couple weeks in a row of hub turns or misses a deviation call-in. Just doesn't pass the smell check.
By name posts on this site....standing ovations for the negotiating committee.......and they apply to this woefully inadequate LOA how exactly???
