Len,

I don't get the importance of management knowing specifically who we are. My buddies know my screen name and that is all that matters to me. If managment wants to determine the credibility of an individual's screen name, you need only review the sumation of post for that given screen name and evaluate those post for accuracy, implied hire date and overall tone. Someone once told me that the truth has a ring and a tone all it's own and you know it when you hear it. Perhaps you should view all the posts on this site that way. Even though you personally may have the best intentions for knowing who you are communicating with, once information is compiled by managment you never know how it is going to be used or maintained.

Most of us are very proud of who we are, and we have spent too long becoming Fedex pilots to try to hide or falsify our identity on-line. Who and what we are generally comes through in our posts. In truth, the veneer of a screen name is mighty thin if you want remain anonymous on this site for very long.

Bingo! We have a winner!

Len,

Management has a history of slamming pilots for the tinest infraction while non-pilot employees seem to get off with nothing when they violate company rules or procedures. Management has never shared with the pilots the results of the Enders Safety Review. Supporting offices like the guy who builds VTO lines for ANC and some of the crew audit folks are absolutely rude, go out of their way to not help us or simply fail to do their job, things which cost us money and time. Yet nothing ever changes, they continue with management's support.

Frankly, I will never identify myself on this board because I simply don't trust any of you.

No, Len.
The company wants to open new domiciles and wants us to give up nearly every bit of our previously negotiated FDA and Relocation benefits of the CBA in lieu of a joke of a housing/moving allowance.

Do you REALLY believe your words? Do you REALLY believe these are additional benefits? My understanding of the word "additional", means you have something and ADD something to it. Taking away what you have and giving you something else is called SUBSTITUTION. The company and curiously enough, our Union, wants to SUBSTITUTE a lousy benefit for the waiver of work rules and numerous allowances. What is "additional" about that?

I can say if this was about Brown and a Brown management guy came on here, he would need to be careful how he came across. A hot shot management guy gets no more respect here than 500 hour Xjet new hire. That's how the internet works.

This isn't the place for a "come to Jesus" talk from managment, if that's what might happen. If your managment guy wants to come here with an open mind seeking information, input, and a forum to express his opinion, then more power to him. If he comes here to intimidate or coerce on behalf of his employer, well, that's not gonna go over to well with those of us who help run this place....speaking only for myself, of course.

You Fedex guys kinda run your own deal here at APC. It's low threat and requires little moderation input, outside the recent problemo. I'm kinda hoping we can keep it that way....
Thank God you were here to moderate our input from management (sarcasm). Although he says he won't be a regular reader/input, I'm so glad he came here with "an open mind seeking information, input, and a forum to express his opinion". Maybe next time we could get real answers from him vice a "spanking" for not using our real names which in his opinion gives us all no credibility. I can't believe any of us are wasting our time commenting on his post.

"Thank God you were here to moderate our input from management"

HAHA. I never said I'd moderate his post. I was trying to warning him of how to treat his first post at APC, especially coming here with an ulterior motive as a management guy. I can only moderate TOS violations. I can't moderate a guy just cause he's management...

As hard as I looked, I could only find one minor slam against APC (implying what is said here is worthless), and that was easy to overlook. The rest is up to you Fedex guys and whatever the popular opinion turns out to be.

I'd say he isn't winning much sympathy towards his point of view, but that's just my opinion based on what I've read so far....

Micro, I tried to use the Union weboard for about 30 minutes. I couldn't even figure out how to open it. Any ideas how it works? PM me please, or put it here if you can.
