So, what you're saying Fr8, and correct me if I'm not interpreting your comment correctly, is that it's alright to pick up a DP as long as you are going to get "anal glaucoma" and "... not be on it ..." And it's alright if you're a "good man." And, it's alright if you are ANC-based, because picking up a DP is different in ANC than in MEM. Cut the hypocrisy, I've read a lot of these DP posts. I'm sorry. You pick up a DP trip you suffer the slings and arrows from the crew force.
Rather than lamb-baste the crew member in this particular situation, I'd like to know why the company has tried, and tried successfully to assign these DP's outside normal assignment parameters.

Unless there has been some "invasion of the body snatchers" action going on in ANC this trip will not stay on his sched. I would have PMed you my opinion but you do not have enough posts yet.

Following this thread for awhile. Can't help but think that we are attacking the symptoms after the fact. If we had listened to the SIG before the last contract... pressed the union before/while the company turned up the optimizer.. which resulted in these disputed pairings. We would not be expending so much time and effort on harrassing our fellow pilots.

I appreciate your sentiments Cliffy170 but I think Fr8Hauler is right in reference to KS. He has always been a standup guy in reference to truly supporting our pilot group. I don't think it is over until the trip is actually flown. I think that is what makes the determination of whether we won or mgt.
