The AOC cafeteria serves Corky's once in a while. Does that count?

Leonard's BBQ on Fox Plaza Dr (off Mt Moriah near its intersection with Mendenhall) is very good and has a wicked lunch buffet on weekdays.

Interstate BBQ at 2265 S Third Street is very good as well, and has been profiled on the Travel Channel. The are a little stingy with the sauce (they sell it in bottles) but if you ask the waiter/ess they will bring you more.

Welcome to Graceland Whale!

The Rendezvous is mostly trading on its reputation.

I'd have to go with Neely's on Mt Moriah. Heck, they have their own show on the Food Network. You just might want to be careful after dark in that part of town.

Central, Leonards and the G'town Commissary are also good. Of course there is also the barbecue championship in mid-May, if you can stand the crowds.

You guys have it all wrong. The BBQ Shop, on Madison and Idlewild in mid-town, has the best BBQ and the best sauce, Dancing Pigs Hot.

+1! I live 3 blocks from there off poplar. I can't get enough... I've put the sauce on everything from a chicken salad sandwich to a philly cheese... It's that good!
